A new Coat of Arms

Almost everyone is entitled to have a coat of arms. This may surprise you, but it is true. We are experts at creating a beautiful - and appropriate - coat of arms just for your and your family.

The process begins with us finding out as much about you and your family as possible. This means asking you questions about your origin, place of birth, parentage and so on. This may seem intrusive at start, but is necessary for us to establish in which heraldic jurisdiction we are moving and what cultural traditions your coat of arms may follow. Through this we will, initially, try to establish if there is a historic coat of arms you are entitled to or if there is a ‘traditional’ coat of arms associated with your surname - according to jurisdiction you may be able to use these or use them with appropriate differences. In this case we would work together with you to produce an appropriate coat of arms, codify it in heraldic language, render it as a design and - if necessary or requested - explore registration with the correct authorities.

If no historic arms can be found, we continue the process of questioning, establishing your values, profession, aspirations, hobbies etc. etc. for us to establish a rounded picture of you and your family. Nationality, marital status, children etc. for a start. Then how do you earn your money? What are your aspirations or strongly held beliefs or mottos? Are there places or institutions you feel strongly about? Do you have any particular hobbies or interests? Through these we can - together - produce an entirely new coat of arms which you may legitimately use. This would include, as above, translating a design into heraldic language, producing a visual representation of the coat of arms for your use and investigating the possibility of registration.

Registration, Assumption & Grant

Depending on where you are in the world a different heraldic authority may be governing your jurisdiction. Wherever you live or come from, we will find the correct way for you to get your coat of arms. This either through assumption, registration or applying for a grant. This may seem complicated, but we are there to help you every step of the way. We have decades of experience and a network of experts spanning the whole globe to help you.
